# TorcLoop

> TorcLoop is an agentic short-form video platform. Nine AI agents research, script, voice, render and publish YouTube Shorts — either generated from nothing but a topic, or clipped from a video you already have. A daily scheduler runs the whole pipeline unattended.

TorcLoop covers both halves of short-form production in one product:

- **Clip a video** — paste a YouTube URL or upload a file. It transcribes, scores segments for shareability, cuts the best moments, reframes to 9:16 with face tracking, and burns in captions.
- **Generate a Short** — give it a topic (or let it pick from ranked AI news). Agents research the subject, write the script, pick the hook, storyboard, synthesise a voiceover and render a finished video. No source footage is involved.

Both publish through a single connected YouTube channel. Clips can also post to LinkedIn. Instagram and TikTok have no native posting yet — every render is a standard 1080x1920 MP4 with captions burned in, so it can be downloaded and posted to them manually.

## What makes it different

- **It does not require a source video.** Most tools in this category (Opus Clip, Vizard, Klap and similar) can only repurpose footage that already exists. TorcLoop can start from a topic alone.
- **Nine specialised agents, not one prompt.** Discover → Rank → Research → Script → Storyboard → Produce → Render → QA → Publish. Each has a single job and hands off to the next.
- **A QA gate.** Every generated Short is scored against sixteen automated checks (aspect ratio, codec, duration band, hook placement, caption sync, source attribution, whether every claim traces back to research). Anything below a user-set threshold is held rather than published.
- **A Video IR, not free-form code.** The language model fills a fixed vocabulary of scene types and never writes rendering code, so a poor generation degrades into a plainer video instead of a broken render.
- **Audio-driven pacing.** Scene durations are derived from the actual narration audio and word-level timings rather than estimated.
- **Branding is stamped, not generated.** Channel handle, avatar and end card are applied at render time so they are identical on every video.
- **Fully inspectable.** For any Short you can read the research, the sources, the competing hooks that lost, the QA verdict and the complete agent log.

## Output

1080x1920 H.264 MP4, captions burned in, typically 30–60 seconds. Suitable for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok.

## Pricing

There is no free tier and no free trial. Plans are monthly, in USD:

- Starter — $9/month. 120 source minutes, 1 generated Short per day, up to 5 clips per video.
- Pro — $19/month. 600 source minutes, 3 generated Shorts per day, up to 10 clips per video, daily automation and auto-publish.
- Business — $49/month. 3000 source minutes, 10 generated Shorts per day, daily automation, priority support.

Two things are metered because two things cost money: minutes of source video fed into the clipping pipeline (transcription is billed per minute), and Shorts generated from scratch (capped per day). Users connect their own YouTube channel.
