Privacy Policy
TorcLoop ("we", "us") is operated by Sonu Kumar as a sole proprietor. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to get rid of it. It covers the website at torcloop.online and the application at app.torcloop.online.
What we collect
Account information
When you create an account we receive your email address, name and profile picture from our authentication provider, Clerk. We store these along with the date you signed up and the date you last signed in. We never see or store your password — Clerk handles authentication, and if you sign in with Google we never receive your Google password at all.
Content you give us
Videos you upload, YouTube URLs you paste, and topics or prompts you type. We also store what the service produces from them: transcripts, generated scripts, storyboards, narration audio, rendered videos and quality scores.
Connected social accounts
If you connect YouTube or LinkedIn, we store the OAuth access and refresh tokens that let us publish on your behalf, together with the granted scopes and the account name. We use these only to perform actions you explicitly ask for.
Billing
Subscriptions are processed by PayPal. We never receive or store your card or bank details. We store your subscription status, plan, and the identifiers PayPal gives us so we know what you're entitled to.
Usage
We record how many source-video minutes you process and how many Shorts you generate, because our plan limits are enforced against those numbers.
Google and YouTube data
TorcLoop's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you connect a YouTube channel we request permission to:
- upload videos to the channel you select, and set their title, description, privacy and schedule;
- read back basic statistics (views, likes, comments) for videos TorcLoop itself published, so the app can show you how they performed.
We do not read your other videos, your subscriber list, your comments, or your watch history. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.
You can revoke our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by disconnecting the account on the Social Accounts page in the app, which deletes the stored tokens immediately.
Using TorcLoop's YouTube features also means you are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's own handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Who else processes your data
Producing a Short means sending parts of your content to specialist services. We send them only what the step requires:
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Clerk | Email, name, profile picture | Authentication |
| Neon | All stored account and project data | Database hosting |
| Hostinger | Uploaded and generated media | Application server |
| Cloudflare | Website requests | Marketing site, DNS |
| AssemblyAI | Audio from your source video | Transcription |
| Groq | Transcripts, topics and prompts | Highlight scoring, scripting |
| ElevenLabs | Generated script text | Narration audio |
| Tavily | Your topic or prompt | Research for generated Shorts |
| Pexels | Image search terms | Stock imagery |
| PayPal | Billing details you enter with them | Subscription payments |
| Google / YouTube | Videos you choose to publish | Publishing |
| Videos you choose to publish | Publishing |
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
Where your data is held
Our servers and database are located in the United States. If you are outside the United States, using TorcLoop means your data is transferred there and to the providers listed above, which may operate in other countries.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded source videos are deleted automatically about 24 hours after upload. They are input, not output — we don't need them once your clips exist.
- Generated Shorts and clips stay until you delete them, or until older renders are pruned to keep disk usage bounded. Deleting a video removes its media from our server.
- Account records, usage counts and billing history are kept while your account exists, and afterwards only where we are required to for tax or accounting purposes.
- Social account tokens are deleted the moment you disconnect the account.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and under the GDPR if you are in the EEA or UK, you may also object to or restrict certain processing, and complain to your data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email aianytime07@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your account record, your projects and your stored media.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Access to the production server is restricted to key-based administrative login. No system is perfectly secure, and we don't claim otherwise — but if a breach affects your data we will tell you.
Children
TorcLoop is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we'll update the date above and notify active users by email. Continuing to use TorcLoop after a change means you accept it.
